In the span of a week, coronavirus has disrupted life in ways we couldn’t predict. We want to reassure you that one thing will stay the same–at Finao, it’s business as usual. We’re here for you and will continue to be. We do not plan any reductions in production. If anything changes, you will be the first to know. We’re developing contingency plans should we face anything out of our control.
Behind the scenes, things may be a little unusual, but you shouldn’t notice a difference. You may be on self-quarantine, but we can stay connected. In Michigan, we are answering your emails and phone calls. Who cares if it’s from our kitchen tables? We just have more cat company (our dogs already get to come to the office).
In New York, we’re still making and shipping orders Monday through Friday. That’s the beauty of an online business – we’re already safer than many workplaces. It’s mostly just us, a reasonably-sized group of craftspeople who have worked together forever. Many of us even commute in the Finao vans (our long-term perk to avoid the rigors of New York public transportation). The general public doesn’t often come to visit. We care about each other’s health, and already wash our hands or wear gloves to keep your products clean. 😊
But in all seriousness… this is an evolving situation. No one can predict what the next few weeks will bring. We will be doing our utmost to ensure that this part of your life doesn’t change. We are committed to keeping you informed and taking care of our loyal Finaons. Our goal is to deliver safe and quality products to you and your clients with as little disruption as possible.
